Natalie and her husband do an amazing job homesteading and showing others just how easy it is. Local schoolteacher Natalie Crawley does everything from animal processing classes to selling local goods from her farm stand. She currently teaches a homesteading class to help growers optimize their space. Her goal is to educate people while feeding her family and community. This year they have increased they're growing space significantly and have turned most of their land into production. At Green Acre Homestead, on one acre, they raise chickens, goats, rabbits, pigs, and cultivate raised beds as well as several inground plots. They now run a farm stand and mini store on their property two days out of the week. Natalie has successfully set up a self-serve stand selling flowers, plant starts, honey and merch. In the mini store she sells and stores eggs as well as other value-added products. One their website Natalie encourages all to feel welcome to schedule a visit or join her in one of their future classes.
